Opening for classes on August 31, 2026, our downtown Calgary campus is now accepting enrolment applications. With strong interest in the first intake, families are encouraged to apply early.

About The BUSY School Calgary

The BUSY School Calgary is designed for students who are looking for a different high school experience, with more personal support, practical learning and clearer direction for what comes next.

Students work toward the Alberta High School Diploma in a smaller learning environment where staff can get to know each student, understand their goals and support their individual pathway.

The model combines academic learning, individualized planning, wellbeing support and career pathway development. Across The BUSY School network, this approach has supported thousands of young people to complete school and take their next steps into further education, training or employment.

Campus Location

The BUSY School Calgary campus is located at 1040 7th Avenue SW in downtown Calgary, close to one of the city’s key transit and pedestrian corridors.

With access to the C-Train, the central location helps make the daily commute more straightforward for students travelling from across Calgary.

Supportive Learning Environment

We offer no fees and all learning materials, including textbooks and laptops are provided for students, as well as uniforms and daily meals.

Approved in Alberta, the school delivers the curriculum that students in Grades 10, 11 and 12 need to work toward the Alberta High School Diploma. The BUSY School offers no fees, smaller classes, flexible learning, individual learning plans and wraparound wellbeing support, alongside vocational training and practical pathways into further study, training or employment.

We aim to see every student graduating with confidence and moving onto a vocational pathway that suits them, whether that is further education, apprenticeships or into work.
