Is The BUSY School Calgary only for students who are disengaged?
The BUSY School Calgary is a supportive, pathway-focused alternative high school for students who would benefit from a more personalized senior high experience.
Students do not need to demonstrate disengagement, barriers or specific challenges to apply. Enrolment is open to students in Grades 10, 11 and 12 where places are available.
Do students need to meet specific criteria to apply?
Any student entering Grade 10, 11 or 12 can apply for The BUSY School.
Will students still work toward a recognized diploma?
The BUSY School offers students a supportive environment where they can work towards their Alberta High School Diploma – as well as find a pathway to future employment.
The focus is on helping each student move forward with confidence, direction and real opportunities for the future.
