At The BUSY School Calgary, students work toward the Alberta High School Diploma through a more personalized and future-focused learning model.
Our curriculum combines core academic subjects with pathway planning, practical learning and opportunities that connect school with life after graduation.
Each student develops an Individual Learning Plan and Career and Pathways Plan aligned to their interests, strengths and future goals.
Students may also engage with pathway-focused opportunities such as:
- Career Technology Studies (CTS)
- Knowledge and Employability (K + E) Occupational Courses
- Off-Campus education:
– Work Experience
– Work Practicum
– Registered Apprenticeship Program
– Internships
– Green Certificate Program
Additional curriculum offered
The BUSY School will offer the Dual Credit Programme to select students. This programme provides students in Grades 10, 11 and 12 the opportunity to work towards gaining both high school credits and credits that count towards a post-secondary certificate, diploma, or degree, including a journey person certificate.
The BUSY School will form partnerships with post-secondary providers to facilitate and manage these courses for students.
