At The BUSY School Calgary, students work toward the Alberta High School Diploma through a more personalized, future-focused learning model. Our curriculum combines core academic subjects with pathway planning, practical learning and real opportunities that connect school with life after graduation.
Every student develops an Individual Learning Plan and a Career and Pathways Plan, shaped around their interests, strengths and future goals.
Pathway-focused opportunities
Students can engage with hands-on learning that builds skills and experience beyond the classroom, including:
- Career Technology Studies (CTS)
- Knowledge and Employability (K&E) Occupational Courses
- Off-campus education, such as:
- Work Experience
- Work Practicum
- Registered Apprenticeship Program

- Green Certificate Program
Dual Credit Programme
The BUSY School will offer the Dual Credit Programme to select students. This gives students in Grades 10, 11 and 12 the opportunity to earn both high school credits and credits that count toward a post-secondary certificate, diploma or degree, including a journeyperson certificate.
To make this possible, The BUSY School will partner with post-secondary providers to facilitate and manage these courses for students.
